The
ORCHESTRA S SESSION STEEL Solo - our novelty in 2014
The
ORCHESTRA S is a solo-tuned 10-hole harmonica
(Orchestra-tuning). Similar to a chromatic harmonica,
all notes from the major scale can be played throughout
a two-and-a-half octave range (available in LC and G).
The
new ORCHESTRA S is tuned to lend itself well to
any musical preference - from Folk to Blues. No matter
if you are a beginner or professional, you will find your
musical expression, in perfect tuning.
"...the
Seydel Saxony's artistic malleability is well beyond the
norm, and perhaps top of class, with a focused projection
due to the metal comb, and clarity I find compelling,
with wonderful musical sensitivity which translates into
more sophisticated artistic presentations of music, to
my ear ...and it is essentially
maintenance-free...I highly recommend this instrument,
it belongs in your stable of horses. You will play, and
enjoy and use it more than you'd think." - unknown
musician
Since
some years SEYDEL-product manager >
Bertram Becher (1847 harmonicas) regularely plays
concerts with his band >
Boogielicious(Eeco Rijken Rapp, piano
and David Herzel, drums) mostly in Germany.
"High
time for a live-recording!", they thought
and together with Jens Kühn on bass they recorded
one of their summer concerts in 2013...on the new CD Boogie
ALIVE you can hear the
positive chemistry of these four players bringing the
music into complete harmony and allowing the audience
to sit back and take in the sounds of the 1920s, 30s,
and 40s!
Part
from the CD-Review in the current issue of the
German Blues News magazin:
"...in
contrast to most pure Boogie-Piano releases this good
sounding Live CD brings lots of fun also to lovers of
other musical styles."
