Welcome to the SEYDEL open '09
Harmonica contest in Klingenthal/Germany!

Again this year the SEYDEL open takes place as a part of the Mundharmonika-Live festival in Klingenthal, Germany (17th Sept. - 20th Sept. 2008) and is an open harmonica contest for Blues harmonica players.
The contest and the Blues-Playbacks
The SEYDEL
open is a competition with
the audience doing the voting. However like in the last contests an "expert
panel" will be there to give their voting, too. Again there are great
>trophies as well
as trophy money!
The contest of the Blues category will take
place in the SEYDEL Blues factory (Robert-Koch Str. 1,
Klingenthal).

For this category we will offer play-along pieces which were recorded
by the Blues Band >Kicking
up dust from Westfalia/Germany. |
10 FULL VERSIONS OF THE PLAYBACKS ARE
AVAILABLE FOR (patience large download, German only
sorry!)!
The live-band "Kicking up Dust" will play at the contest to accompany the participants. Other songs than the provided ones are therefore excluded!
Again this year all participants will be introduced on th SEYDEL home page. The contestants and the winners of last year's SEYDEL open can be found here: >2007 and >2008.
Arrival day for the Blues contest is the 17th of Sept. 09, we meet in the evening in the ">Waldhotel Vogtland" - www.ferienhotel-zwotatal.de - to better get to know each other. On Friday the 18th of Sept. at 2.00PM we start the contest in the SEYDEL Blues factory.
The SEYDEL open is a pure Solo-contest and no singing is allowed. Attendance fee is 20€/25$.
