Discover the newly developed springless slider system: We replaced the traditional slider spring mechanism with an ingenious magnet system where two repelling magnets serve for an extra smooth, low friction, fast and accurate slider action.

NEW CD out! Mark Hummel's "Wayback Machine"

We are happy to announce the new CD from SEYDEL endorser Mark Hummel - this what some critics say about the CD:

"Harmonica-ace Mark Hummel has released a new album deeply rooted in American music but striking the ear as contemporary for its timeless lyrical themes…" (Morton Shlabotnik/Shepherd's Express)

"Mr. Hummel plants his play firmly in vintage blues ground, paying tribute to the 30’s and 40’s sounds from which the classic postwar Chicago blues era would spawn. The tracks with the DBS [Deep Basement Shakers] are good-timey in nature, Mr. H’s spirited play punctuated by the precocious play of percussionist Dave Eagle. Solid takes from this lineup include Robert Nighthawk’s 'Pepper Mama', Sonny Boy (John Lee) Williamson’s 'Cut That Out' and the minor-keyed instrumental 'Breathtaking Blues'. The final three tracks, featuring Mr. [Joe] Beard on vocals, are of a more intense character, particularly Hummel’s composition 'Say You Will'." (Duane Verh/Roots Music Report)

"...a new smoky shack-shaking record" (Aaron Davis/Sacramento Bee)
