Daniel Chappet - Chromatic Harmonica at its best

This is what Daniel Chappet says about the SAXONY, his preferred instrument:

Daniel Chappet is a harmonicist from San Agustín, Balcarce (province of Buenos Aires, Argentina). He started his music studies when he was 14 years old, inspired by teachers from his city. When he finished secondary school, he moved to La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) to continue studying music with different teachers.

His interpretations cover a great part of popular argentinian folklore as well as southamerican music sounds and improvisations which renew my works. In 2009 he won the first place in "Tango Hugo del Carril" contest (organized by Buenos Aires city). In 2014, he was the winner of the 43rd Edition of "pre Cosquín" as instrumental soloist, which gave him the chance to participate in "Festival Mayor de Folklore" las January 27th

"The SEYDEL SAXONY was recommend by a friend of mine, Roy Hargroove. The first impression I had, convinced me to buy it and turned it into my favourite. Its mouthpiece, how comfortable I feel while using it, the magnificent volume it can reach are some of the characteristics I like the most. But the most amazing are the treble in the third octave and Its leveling with the two previous ones. This is a special characteristic which you can only find in SEYDEL.
Further, with a constant use I can reach that pitch in the sound I always want in a harmonica.
What is more, I want to highlight the tuning perfection and durability. This is an important detail since it decreases maintenance periodicity. In my case, I do it every nine months approximately with an intense use.
I am a really strict person with instruments. I have two SAXONYs and I notice some differences between both of them, which makes me always use and prefer one of them... but under any doubts, I am more than satisfied with its performance."
