Dave Earl

Dave started playing blues gigs as a teenager and has recorded 10 blues CD's in the past 30 years. He's toured Europe and played many Blues festivals. For the past 15 years Dave has made his living with his one man blues show, he sings Delta and early Chicago blues and plays guitar and harp in the rack.

CD-Review Dave Earl – S.F. Street Blues By Peter Wheat World Harmonica Magazine 2008: "This is Dave’s 4th solo CD, capturing the magic of his live solo blues shows. On this 18 track CD, Dave plays guitar and predominantly rack harmonica to a standard rarely heard. Dave is clearly someone who has paid his dues, and is able to create that authentic one man band blues sound.

This inspiring CD comprises both blues standards and original songs, with the occasion nod to jazz and ragtime, and is characterised by Dave’s driving guitar style, along with a good variety of blues harmonica styles and position playing, all topped off with Dave’s laid back vocals. If, like me, you are a fan of the one man band blues sound, you will want to think about adding Dave’s CD to you collection."
