Jeremy “JB” Bustillos

Dallas, TX native Jeremy “JB” Bustillos has been a touring musician for over 20 years. JB first picked up the Harp when he was given one as a gift in college. He fell in love with it's simplicity of use but also it's complex nature of making music.

Although he acknowledges the influence of many great blues harmonica musicians, he calls his own playing a "very modern" take on a traditional music form that is thoroughly his own.

A member of Anthony Rosano and the Conqueroos, he performs at Blues Festivals throughout the eastern United States. The band has received numerous accolades including "Best Blues" for 3 years (2015/2016/2017), along with "Best Live Performer" (2017) and an "Album of the Year" nomination for "Get ROO'D" (2016) in the VEER Music Awards.

In October of 2016 Anthony and The Conqueroos made the trip to New Orleans and NOLA Studios. With producer Mike Zito, Grammy winning engineer David Farrell, and the help of Anders Osbourne and Johnny Sansone, they recorded their newest album which was released in April 2017. The record has quickly gained international radio airplay and debuted at #1 on the ITunes chart and #9 on the Billboard Blues chart.

Reviewers of the album have drawn comparisons to Bruce Springsteen and Led Zeppelin as well as being anchored in the traditional blues genre.

This is what JB told us about his instruments: "I play on Session Steel Harps and for me, they are the best out of the box harmonicas on the market."
