Backt to Back - PT Gazell + Brendan Power
This is a brand-new collaboration album with the respected Nashville diatonic harmonica player Pt Gazell and world class player Brendan Power!

PT Gazell and Brendan Power share a passion for swing jazz.
They met in person at the SPAH Harmonica Festival in Milwaukee in 2007, and had such a blast jamming that they decided to record a swing album together.
Since they live on opposite sides of the Atlantic, that required some creative procedures! The basic tracks were recorded in Nashville in January 2008, and in the ensuing months PT and Brendan communicated via Skype and sent tracks back and forth over the internet. The final mixing session was done via a Skype link from Nashville to Bendan's kitchen in Canterbury UK.
This is a great and groundbreaking CD which shows PT's approach to playing the (>half-valved ) diatonic in a fully chromatic fashion, as well as Brendan's outstanding work on the Chromatic.
