IMPORTANT NOTE: Unfortunately the SEYDEL open contest is postponed for one year! It will start just in time on Friday 17th in September 2021 at 2PM in Klingenthal/Germany with Boogielicious as your band. All registrations remain valid - we hope to meet you all in 2021!
The Blues harmonica contest - SEYDEL open - takes place every year since 2007 and is part of the >Mundharmonika-live festivals held in Klingenthal / Germany. The SEYDEL open is a competition with the audience doing the voting. However like in the last contests an "expert panel"is giving their voting, too. For sure we offer some great >trophies!
The playalong tracks Every year we record playbacks that are given to the participants after registering. These are played by exactly the same band that is present at the contest's day. All participants therefore can prepare themselves for their performances. Information on how to drive to Klingenthal and accomodation can be found >here. Below you will find the full versions of the past contests - you can use them for free for your general rehearsal! THe collection is a colorful mixture of many different Blues-pieces - perfect for playing along - have much fun - hopefully we will see you one day in Klingenthal on the SEYDEL open stage!
