Neil Adler

Neil is an award winning chromatic harmonica artist, and pianist. He was called by Toots Thielemans "My Favorite Harmonica Player (2014) who also praised his tone, and improvisation.

He is an international performer and educator, just having been invited to perform in Brussels for the Toots 100 conference. He has recorded for Motown, Polydor and Vanguard recording labels. Neil is also an active educator, active in interest groups including Slidemeister, S.P.A.H. and with many Youtube presentations.

His musical interest is making improvised music with strong melodic statements, rich harmony, and above all rhythm.

This is what he says about his SAXONY:

"I love my SAXONY and would buy another except it seems that, for the first time one is enough - since its so reliable.

After introduced to the SAXONY Chromatic Harmonica at SPAH I purchased one which has become my favored intrument. Seydel is a small company located in Eastern Germany. Since 1847 they have make 100% German harmonicas with exceedingly precise manufactuing tolerances using stainless steel instead of brass. The result is an axe that is bright, loud and precise, is essentially maintanence free and, most importantly, allows me to effortlessly color the tones producing my individual sound.
