Andy Wilson - multi-instrumentalist with focus on harmonica

Hailing from Lansing, Michigan/USA, Andy Wilson is a multi-genre, multi-instrumentalist, specializing in harmonica and doubling on trumpet, Cajun accordion, ukulele, and Irish whistles.

Andy performs with a number of bands and duos including Steppin' In It, The Springtails, and The Wilson Brothers. A versatile harmonicist, he utilizes chromatic and diatonic harmonicas, performing a mix of jazz, blues, and bluegrass. Andy was a featured performer at the 2007 SPAH (Society for the Preservation and Advancement of the Harmonica) convention, performing music inspired by Jerry Murad's Harmonicats.

Andy holds a bachelors of music degree in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University, and offers a variety of private and group instruction, online or in person. Andy is also an expert harmonica repair technician.
