     "I designed the Wilde Rock Tuning specifically for playing hard rock and blues rock on the harmonica. Even though I love the Richter tuning, I always found it frustrating when I wanted to play rock-style guitar licks, especially in the upper octave. The Wilde Rock Tuning solves all the problems I had with the Richter tuning, while still retaining that bluesy feel in the 2nd position that all players know and love.
     The traditional Richter tuning is primarily designed for playing major chords and the corresponding major scale in the first position. Wilde Rock Tuning, on the other hand, is specifically designed for playing the minor pentatonic and blues scales in the 2nd position across all three octaves!
     I’ve always considered the sound of draw notes and draw bendings to be fuller than blow notes. Draw notes simply have more expression, a richer tone, and a more beautiful vibrato. With the Wilde Rock Tuning, I can bend all the draw notes, and the root note is a draw note across all three octaves.
     In my opinion, the Wilde Rock Tuning is the configuration that every ambitious rock harmonica player has been waiting for!”
