SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic

Details "SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic"

The SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic, featuring a 3-octave range, a patented magnetic slider system, and polished stainless steel reeds.

The SYMPHONY 48, with its newly developed, incredibly smooth-operating magnetic slide system, plays almost by itself! Here at Seydel, we’ve completely reimagined the 12-hole chromatic harmonica. Many innovative ideas have found their way into this state-of-the-art musical instrument. The SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic comes with a black anodized aluminum comb, a half-moon shaped mouthpiece, and a high-quality, sturdy case.

  • Patented springless slider system: In our SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic, the slide spring has been replaced by a magnetic mechanism that ensures extremely low-friction and reliable slide movement.
  • Polished stainless steel reeds deliver an even more brilliant sound while allowing for perfect control of the tone - from a delicate pianissimo to a powerful fortissimo.
  • The powder-coated coverplates made of die-cast aluminum can be removed individually. Their wide-open back ensures balanced, dynamic sound projection and produces a clearly defined, warm tone across a total range of four octaves
  • The extra-sturdy slider, made of 1 mm-thick German silver, features a silvered, magnetic slider knob with a soft, convex contact surface. Because each individual slider is manually fitted into the mouthpiece’s slider track, the SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic is extremely airtight and silent.
  • CNC-milled comb made of black anodized aluminum
  • Particularly easy to maintain: By loosening a single screw, the slider can be completely removed and cleaned.
  • The SYMPHONY 48 Chromatic comes factory-equipped with a half-moon shaped, fully silvered mouthpiece. The mouthpiece, which is screwed in from the back, has no screw heads on the side that touches the lips, resulting in a more comfortable feel against the lips and improved gliding properties.
